Porcelain is not porous, therefore, it does not absorb any stains. Porcelain material is of high durability. After installation, clean porcelain tile thoroughly to remove grout residue, adhesive, and construction dust using a pH-neutral or manufacturer-approved cleaner. Avoid harsh acids or abrasive products that may damage the tile or grout. For everyday maintenance, sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dirt and debris, then clean with a damp mop and a mild cleaner. With proper care, porcelain tile will maintain its beauty and durability for years to come.
Grout care: Clean grout lines periodically using a soft-bristle brush and a simple paste of baking soda and water, scrub gently. Cement-based grout can be porous, it can be sealed with a penetrating liquid sealer to avoid water-absorption, mold and stains.
We recommend using Stonetech’s Bulletproof Sealer, premium, water-based penetrating sealer, designed to provide maximum protection against the toughest water and oil-based stains on the most porous natural stone, tile, masonry and grout surfaces.
